Firm History
Dennis “hung up his single shingle” law practice in 1989 in Charleston, South Carolina. He worked hard to provide consistent, good service to his clients, whether it was the Town of Kiawah Island or a person involved in an automobile accident.
In 1998 Dennis helped a client successfully sue the United States Coast Guard following the death of three of her family members. He obtained a verdict of $18 million from the United States District Court of South Carolina.
Sally started her practice at Young, Clement, Rivers and Tisdale in 1988. She principally handled personal injury from the defendant’s side. In 2005, she joined her husband in the law practice, establishing the firm of Rhoad and Rhoad. Her year’s of defense work provides her with a unique perspective in plaintiff’s personal injury work.
